XFCE Menus and Wine Installed Programs

Postby PKodon on Sat Apr 25, 2009 9:27 pm

I currently have PC/OS 2009v2 (not 2a) installed, and I have one Windows game currently installed with Wine.

All it's menu entries are located in the "Other" menu, along with Notepad.

I've tried looking up .desktop files to edit and other means of moving these menu entries into a logical location in the menu. I once had someone on IRC help me with the problem, several versions of PC/OS ago, but I don't remember what we did back then.

Is it possible for someone who understands how menu entries and icons are being handled to post a description of where to find the relevant files, how to change/add categories/menus, and how to move newly installed program icons into relevant menus so they don't all end up in "Other"?

Thank you in advance,
PKodon
