Unable to keep Settings

Postby Antonio S. on Sat Apr 04, 2009 3:55 am

Hello,

I have recently installed the most recent version of PC/OS and I am very satisfied of it.
However it seems I am having problems in setting following:

-Screensaver (should start within 3 mins of inactivity but does not start at all).
- Gufw Firewall (although I set preferences they are lost once I close the Window; actuaslly it should be running in background and should show task icon but simply closes and I have to keep the window open to have it operating properly). Note that I made the same settings I have on Gufw installed on desktop machine running Linux Mint but in that case settings are kept.
-Same issues for access window issue (cannot keep the changes made for theme and background color).

Is there any particular file I have to modify in order to make these changes effective?

Thanks a lot in advance for support. PC/OS is actually my preference as OS (switched from Ubuntu as I find most handy tools come just out of the box), keep the goods work going!

Regards,
Antonio

having a problem with automatic login window once it is closed I loose all the settings I made and can not log in automatically.
No problem with setting a different theme. Tried screen saver and it is not working either.
