OpenWorkstatiojn 2009 Alpha 1 is available for insiders and team members. This release includes all the fixes as mentioned in the Blog and is built using the new Remastersys. Be sure to test it thoroughly and report any problems. OpenWorkstation will not be publicly beta tested instead relying on insiders and partners, OpenDesktop will have a public beta testing session and will be released around mid-October.

Also, I have decided that if you purchased v2 and have a valid receipt from on-disk or if you purchased a Psystar OpenComputer or OpenComputer Pro, you will be entitled to receive a free upgrade to PC/OS OpenWorkstation 2009.

Lovin it. A few things. How the hell do you install the thing from Ubiquity without getting into a desktop. Since you went back to using isolinux instead of Grub. Also as a professional developer we use Eclipse a good portion of the time for software development and since you are aiming to sell this, Eclipse may be a tool you want to include. Im glad Mono and an updated Mono made a comeback. This is shaping up to be a good one. Have you also gained any more ideas regarding digital delivery?
