Take Screenshot icon missing from boot DVD

Postby woodbe on Wed Aug 06, 2008 11:55 am

OpenWorkstation 2008 MR1
Kernel Version: 2.6.24-19

Could not find the Take Screenshot application although the
add/remove program showed it installed. I am still learning Linux
and found the article below on how to create a new program launcher.

To Create a Take Screenshot icon for the desktop
Right click on the desktop and choose Create Launcher.
In the Name field type Take and choose the create launcher
Take Screenshot from the pop up list. Hit the create button
and an Icon will appear on the desktop. remember this is only
temporary for the boot DVD.

I think we should have a way of creating a script that is stored on a USB
Key that adds missing items from PC/OS.

Right click on any panel, add to panel and scroll down and choose 'screenshot'
