Hello,
Downloaded the Pc-os Openworkstation iso file and run it firstly on live mode, then installed it. I am having a problem in keeping the WPA passphrase when connecting via wireless. A window asking me for keyring unlocking pops up asking for admin password but regardless how many times I enter the password the ok button does not keep the entry. Indeed the machine is connected to the web for the session but it will still ask for wirelss network passphrase on next boot. This is not happening using opendesktop 2009v2a (it goes just the same, except that the admin password is accepted when ok button is hit). Are there any means to bypass this?

Thanks a lot in advance for support and best to all.
Antonio

Hi Antonio,

If you ignore the keyring password request (i.e. by pressing "cancel"), then you'll be delivered back to the wireless dialogue box. The keyring password is different from your other passwords - the keyring feature is designed to keep track of all of your passwords, and it has its own password. Just skip it and you should be OK.

Hello Cherax,
Thanks for the info. I am running 2009.3 on Virtualbox so the keyring thing is not showing anymore. Anyway I will install it again on a dedicated 'real' partition and see how it turns out.
Many thanks for suggestions.

Regards
Antonio
