OpenOffice.org Update

Postby pcos08 on Mon Jun 23, 2008 10:12 am

According to some users When you upgrade OpenOffice.org from Synpatic on PC/OS. OpenOffice.org breaks. It wont start and it wont. Deleting the preferences folder in the home directory doesnt do anything, uninstalling and reinstalling doesnt do anything. Do not update OpenOffice until the issue is figured out and if you did you will have to download the OpenOffice 2.4 package from http://pc-os.org/downloads.html and use that one.

This behavior has been verified by myself and it can be replicated in Ubuntu 8.04 and has been reported to Canonical.
