AmigaOS style themes for PC/OS

Postby crismolina on Sat Jan 03, 2009 10:50 pm

I was a huge Amiga fan growing up and am a huge fan of OS 4, after reading Roberto's statements on AmigaOS i created these two themes. They cant be exact clones due to Amiga copyrights so they differ a little. I am pushing for these to be included in 2009.1 so use em and let me know what you think. To install copy these into the /usr/share/themes folder. You will have to be a super user so in a terminal type "sudo thunar /usr/share/themes' this will open a root Thunar session in the Themes folder and just copy and paste or drag. AmiPcOs-default changes with you theme colors.

I'm going to have to try this out. I was an Atari ST fan and one of these days I'd like an Atari theme. Or two, old-old green desktop and then newer-but-still-old Falcon desktop.

How hard is it to "make" a theme for Xfce - PC/OS? I don't have time for it right now, but in the near future, maybe...

Its not that hard to make an XFCE or PC/OS themes per say. if you are at all artistic, GTK themes are muuuuuuuuuch harder
